Search Setup
If you do not have a tenant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you can sign up for a free trial.
Once you have completed the sign up and your tenant is up and running, you can add the NAV-X Search app from the AppSource Marketplace. If you have questions about the installation process of an app through Microsoft AppSource, you can find more information on installing apps on the Microsoft Docs site.
You can configure the initial setup using the Assisted Setup or the Manual Setup as described below. You can also always make changes to the setups accessing Search Setup page. Choose the icon, enter Search Setup, and then choose the related link to start the setup page.
Currently, there are no setup fields available for NAV-X Search. In the future, we will add additional setup functionality to this page. As of now, the Search Setup is an easy way to access all additional setup pages required for the functionality to work.
Actions
Process > Search Tables
If you run through the Assisted Setup and have already selected the tables that you want to include in your search experience, this is already completed. However, you can always customize your search experience by adding or removing tables from the setup or adding or removing fields from individual tables. Learn more about configuring search tables.
