- Configure per-integration settings matching your workflow
- Test with small import before enabling background processing
- Document custom codeunits for your organization
- Review error handling to match your retry strategy
- Enable audit trail for compliance/troubleshooting

Version 1.3.0 Updates
New in v1.3.0:
| Feature | Setting | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Post-Processing Framework | Codeunit ID + Trigger Type | Integration record |
| Background Processing | Execution Mode (Immediate/Deferred) | Integration record |
| Field Value Mapping | Enable mapping per-field | Integration Field page |
| Multi-Document Support | Create New Document flag | Integration Mapping |
| Error Classification | Error Type field | Integration Record |
These settings are primarily configured at the Integration level (on the Integration record itself) rather than on centralized setup pages.
Legacy Setups (Pre-v1.3.0)
Older setups that may still exist but are superseded:
| Old Setting | Replaced By (v1.3.0) |
|---|---|
| Processing Codeunit ID | Processing Execution Mode + Post-Processing Framework |
| Single Export Direction | Bidirectional support (future) |
Troubleshooting Setup Issues
"Setting not found" error?
Cause: Setup page accessed before setup created
Solution:
- Verify setup name spelled correctly
- Ensure setup exists (may need creation)
- Check permissions to access setup table
Settings not applying?
Cause: Configuration not saved or wrong level
Solution:
- Verify settings saved (Save button clicked)
- Check if setting is global or per-integration
- Verify integrations reloaded after setup change
Can't find specific setting?
Research:
- Check Integration Type configuration (Integrations page)
- Check Post-Processing settings (Integration record)
- Check Field Mapping configuration (Mappings page)
- Check specific Integration Fields (for Column Types)
Many v1.3.0 settings moved to specific configuration pages rather than centralized setup.
Version 1.4.0 Updates
New in v1.4.0:
| Feature | Setting | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Import Logging | Enable Import Logging (global) | NAV-X Integration Setup |
| Import Logging | Enable Detailed Logging (per-integration) | Integration record |
| Import Preview | Preview Rows (1-100) | Integration record |
| Definition Export/Import | Export/Import Setup actions | Integrations page |
| Copy to Company | Copy to Company action | Integrations page |
| Copilot Auto Setup | Suggest Integration Setup action | Integrations page |
Flexible Integration Setup
The Flexible Integration Setup page is a Card page that stores global configuration for the flexible integration engine. It is accessed from the Integration Framework menu or via search.
Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Power Automate Base URL | The base trigger URL for the Power Automate webhook relay flow (e.g., https://prod-xx.logic.azure.com/.../invoke). This is the URL up to but not including /webhook/{token}. Used when integrations are triggered via Power Automate webhooks. |
This setup record is automatically initialized the first time the page is opened. It does not allow inserting or deleting records — only modifying the existing configuration.
